Masti Hints:

  • Create these with your special someone and make it a date night.

  • Munch on some tutti fruitti with paan masala.

  • If you don't have a kitchen aid or mixer, then you can beat vigorously by hand. However, the kitchen aid will definitely make your life easier.

  • You can also use melted Falooda flavored ice cream for the Falooda mix.

  • Allow the heavy whipping cream to sit in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

  • If you don't have a decorative tip, you can use a sturdy pipping bag and snip the bottom corner off.

  • Most importantly remember to enjoy, be creative, and get messy!

Instructions for Cupcakes

1. Preheat the oven to 375 ºF.

2. Add cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a kitchen aid. Began beating at low speed while gradually increasing the speed to medium-high. Continue to add rose syrup, rose water, and cardamon powder while it is mixing. Beat for about 2-3 minutes or until all the ingredients are well mixed.

3. Line your cupcake pan(s) with the cupcake liner. Fill each cup about halfway with the cake mixer. Bake for about 15 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick into the middle of the cupcake to see if it come out clean. If so, let it cool for about 10 minutes and move on to the next step.

4. Combine milk and rose syrup in a glass or medium size bowl. Mix well.

5. Fill a third of the syringe with the falooda mix and insert it in the center of each cupcake twice, allowing it to soak. Place the cupcakes on a baking tray rack.

Instructions for Whipped Cream Frosting

1. In a kitchen aid, beat the heavy whipping cream at low speed, slowly increasing the speed to high. Simultaneously, gradually add the confectioners' sugar in moderate amounts. (It is best to remove clumps from the sugar by using a sifter or strainer.) Then, add rose syrup and a pinch of salt. Whip until you have a light, but thick consistency. The frosting should hold its shape well (Refer to picture).

2. Insert your desired decorative tip in the pipping bag and fill the bag with frosting, twisting the top. Frost each cupcake starting from the outer edge, working your way towards the center. Garnish as you desire.
