Masti Tips!
If you want to increase the serving amount, the vegetables are used in a 1:1:1:1 ratio for this recipe.
Recommended brands for naan: Stonefire or Kontos
If you choose to melt the cheese, add it while the pizza is on the griddle and cover with a melting dome.
We also used the Maggi brand tomato sauce, however you are welcome to use your own preferred brand!
Add extra amul cheese for extra fun! Then extra cardio the next day... (We bought a block of amul cheese from the Indian grocery store)
Preparation:
In a large mixing bowl add the onions, red peppers, cabbage, and tomatoes. Add 1 tbsp of chaat masala and 2 tbsp of 'Maggi hot and sweet' sauce. Mix well and set it aside.
In a bowl, add a 1:1 ratio of 'Maggi Hot and Sweet Sauce' and the Tomato sauce. Mix well and set it aside.
Heat the griddle on medium and place the naan on each side for about 30 seconds to warm it up. Set it aside.
Assembling:
1. Heat the griddle on high. Spread butter on the bottom side of the naan and place it on the griddle.
2. While the naan begins to get toasty, spread about 2 - 3 tbsp of the sauce on the naan. Then spread about 3 - 4 tbsp of the vegetables. Remove the pizza from the griddle in 3-5 minutes (depending on how crunchy you prefer).
3. Slice the pizza, shred amul cheese on top, sprinkle some chaat masala, and serve warm!
